Mistakes slowing you down?
Making mistakes, forgetting to do things and not paying attention to detail mean that you don’t work as effectively as you know you can.
Errors cause delays and add to stress levels. They waste time and money too. And when things go wrong it causes problems - for you, your colleagues and your customers.
The good news
We know no-one comes to work thinking, ‘how many mistakes can I make today?’ and we understand why all human beings, whoever they are, sometimes make mistakes.
The good news is that you’re not alone - and we know how to improve your accuracy skills.
Accuracy is a trainable skill.
How to get it right
Attend our One-day Accuracy Skills training workshop to get things right first time.
It's fun, interactive and you'll leave with practical tips and techniques you can apply right away to your day-to-day work.
Who’s it for?
The One-day Accuracy Skills virtual workshop is for anyone who wants to improve their attention to detail and not make mistakes. It's the perfect introduction to accuracy skills.
The training is ideal for individuals or small groups who want the flexibility of attending an open workshop. It is also useful as an accuracy skills ‘taster day’ for senior managers wanting to experience our training before booking an in-house delivery for their people.
The One-day Accuracy Skills virtual workshop is delivered over standard virtual meeting software. Access to a modern computer fitted with a webcam, microphone and speakers is required. Our pre-workshop session checks everything is working as it should be.
Fewer mistakes mean getting more done in the time available. Mistakes waste valuable time and correcting errors often involves several people. Taking remedial action to put things right takes up even more time. Getting things right first time, every time, has a big impact on productivity.
You'll explore how much mistakes are costing you and how to work more efficiently.
It’s difficult to concentrate when you are constantly under pressure, feel distracted and have to deal with interruptions. When you feel stressed your brain doesn’t work effectively and you can’t think logically. It’s easy to make mistakes, or to forget to do things. Learning how to ‘SuperConcentrate’ and manage stress and distractions means you work more accurately.
Accurate data handling
We know why people make transposition errors, omit data and read information incorrectly. The physical structure of the human eye and the way our brains perceive information can trick us into making mistakes.
We’ve developed proven, practical techniques that are easy to apply to all types of numerical data as well as information containing names and addresses. You'll learn valuable data handling techniques.
Learn how to approach your checking with the optimum mindset and how to check effectively to find the mistakes. Just reading through a document or email to check it isn’t enough. You need to apply a structured checking process to ensure all the vital elements of your message are correct.
You’ll learn how to create effective checklists too, and how to spot the flaws in the ones you’re currently using.
